Sotiris Sorogas (Athens 1936) is a Greek painter. He studied with a state scholarship at the Academy of Fine Arts from where he graduated in 1961. He had and has many exhibitions sponsored by the Ministry of Culture in Greece, Japan, Belgium, Ireland, Brazil, USA, France, Italy, Switzerland and elsewhere. He was a professor at the National Technical University of Athens in the School of Architecture from 1964 to 2003. In 2004 he received an artistic contribution award from the Academy of Athens. He is co-founder of the Society for the Study of Greek Culture. In 2018, the President of the Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos awarded him the Medal of the Superior Brigadier of the Order of Honor.
In the same year, the Telloglio Foundation hosted a retrospective exhibition with approximately ninety works of the painter’s entire artistic career.
