Schina Mary

Mary Schina was born in Serres, Greece. She studied printmaking (1966–1971) and typography – graphic design (1971–1973) at the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA) on a Greek government scholarship, and lithography at the École National Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris (1976–1981) on a French government scholarship.
She taught Plastic Art at the Athens College – Psychiko College (1981–1993). Since 1993 she has been teaching in the Printmaking Department of ASFA.
She attended Advanced Printmaking at New York University, NY, as a visiting scholar on sabbatical (1996–1997), and Advanced Printmaking and Digital Prints at Columbia College Chicago, Chicago, as a visiting lecturer (2004).
Mary Schina has participated in international seminars in Norway, France, Holland and Lebanon.
She is associate professor at the Printmaking Department of the Athens School of Fine Arts.
